AN IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION

The purpose of  ‘SYN.’,  is to explore the potential of visual communication design in eliciting multi-sensory experiences. The phenomenon of synesthesia inspires the thesis concept and focuses on the amalgamation of auditory and visual stimuli. The project's immersive installation blurs the boundaries between sight and sound, aiming to challenge traditional modes of perception. Through the design of motion-reactive visuals to the music of the progressive house DJ duo, Beije, ‘SYN.’ seeks to evoke a sense of being inside the music itself, fostering a connection between the audience and the auditory-visual narrative.
